What is your favorite Band

I choose ccr but outside of the poll my favorite is goldfinger.

well my favorite of all time would have to be the moody blues, and second, tangarene dream.

of those on that list there aren't any i particularly DISlike, although i probably ought to be more familiar with abba then i am, and 13th floor elevators i can't quite place.

hmmm no one (has yet that i know of) mentioned frank zappa (as a poll option) either, although of course he wasn't exactly a band, just a reamarkable, truely remarkable musician and composer.

i suppose most people remember more bands with lyrics that became popular. i tend to listen more to melodic content and the inovativeness thereoff, although even that doesn't quite say it exactly either.

i liked the idea of the dead and their culture. their music didn't really do all that much for me.

thank you for your many answers... it came out a bit different then I thought I thougt simon and garfunkel will get less votes than the 13th Floor Elevators and that the deads will get more votes than jimi... I like them both

 

The Who is my favorite band in the entire history of bands, closely followed by the Grateful Dead and CCR.

in that limited list i'd have to pick jefferson airplane, jimi hendrix, and the who, but more bands are needed!

if i listenn to recorded music its almost always reggae.. bob marley burning spear steel pulse are favs..

sublime korn tool led zep the dead bob marley, africaunite spelled it wrong(you seem to into africa and reggae to get that spelling wrong).
