Shit, talk about nirvana. It really sucks how people can't explain what they experienced completely. Sounds like he reached the eastern enlightenment though in some way.

I don't get why there is a central authority in a religion like Buddhism that "prohibits" controlled substances. Considering the fact that there are no gods in mainstream Buddhism, who gives a crap on what the fifth Buddhist said. Just because the fifth Buddhist didn't work well taking intoxicants of the mind 'causing heedlessness', it doesn't mean the same thing will occur with other people. I think that is a major problem with authorities in religion, there should be no authority like in the silly Abarahmic religions that "prohibit" anything (only advice). Spirituality should be free in whatever way works for you.

Anyway, his experience sounded pretty intense. He supposedly almost became like a god and got the powers to change reality as he sees fit. For example he made his eyes bleed. But wasn't this not a hallucination? I doubt his eyes really bled and he probably instead imagined (which is powerful none the less). I have heard that some people who trip this much can lead them to the ER not realizing reality but I'm sure many of these stories are exaggerated.

BTW, I have heard that you can see higher spatial dimensions with LSD. If this is so then that is pretty amazing. We live in a spatially 3D universe so imagining higher dimensions seems to defy logic. It would be like a 2D organism seeing 3D in its universe.

With that said, is there anyway you guys can describe these higher dimensions? If so how many higher dimensions have you seen up to? This guy saw 4 spatial dimensions which alone is pretty amazing. Is it possible to go further into 5D, 6D, ect.? If this is so then this can help explain string theory, supergravity theory, m-theory, and any other theories that involve a higher dimension.

Can you describe these higher dimention theories? I've never experienced anything like it but I'm very interested...

do not put baking soda on your raw nuts, no matter how sincerely your brother is trying to tell you it heals it.

During part of a peak during one of my trips, I experienced what I would consider a similar state of consciousness to what this guy describes, and it occured while I was falling through something like 10 or 11 dimentions (CEV's). It's hard to describe how it was seen as that many dimentions, I guess it would be more accurate to say that those dimentions had been perceived more than actually seen, though what was actually seen was an immensly complex fractal pattern. During this time I also saw colors I knew weren't real and that I wouldn't even be able to remember.

I would say that this was greatly influenced by reading several books about quantum theory and string theory...if you've read anything about these subjects, then you could say that what I saw was the universe at the string level, at the very most basic level of the universe, where the concept of time is irrelevant. Without getting into too much detail, the way the equations work out implies more dimentions than we're used to, only they're larger or, more likely, smaller than what we can normally perceive. With these ideas in my head, and me already being able to conceptualize abstract ideas, I was predisposed to see something crazy like multiple dimentions. However, unlike you said, it simply provides a way for us to understand these theories, it does not (and cannot) explain them - you have to use math for that. All that I'm saying is that it can help you put everything together in your mind, because all of those things tie in together, and each in itself is ridiculous to understand.

Yeah ego loss is fun sometimes

also fun to interpret it with buddhist ideas

but I prefer writing the 1000 possible songs about it ;p

hahah I cant really cope with this metaphysical stuff ;p

28 hours??? I would probably freak out just knowing that that happened. Come to two days later? wtf. Esp with no one there to give a second opinion on what happened, that would be nuts.
