I need to get a good, warm jacket or coat. one that is also cute. I always end up buying cute coats that don't keep me warm! anyone's recommendations? How bout the wool peacoats? are they any good. how about wool in general? I've never worn it! would i be better off getting something with the nylon shell and some kind of liner? i just don't know and I don't have the resources right now to go looking around. What do you guys think?

i like peacoats... they're pretty good in my experience but i haven't used one in a very cold environment, only about as cold as 15F i think.

yeah, I really like the look of a peacoat, but to me it looks like they might not be too warm, although I don't have ANY experience with wool, which I hear is great. 15F is pretty good, though. good enough for me! I don't think it gets that cold here.

i found a super nice pea coat that has a thinsulate liner in it.. its a creamy white with a grass green colored liner. the best thing was that it had an old makeup stain on it, so i picked it up for $3 at a second hand shop! oh yeah!

I love my peacoats! I have a hip-length one and a knee-length one and they both get good use in the winter. Plus they're really cute and go with everything.

well what kind of "old coat" do you have? I need to get something good for rolling around in the snow, as I probably can't afford to have a different coat for just that. I only make less than $100 a month.
