Anyone from Nova Scotia?

I'm just wondering how many people around here are from Nova Scotia, Canada.

I'm from the hants co. area..

my grandmother was from NS...does that count?

 

i was on a flight home from amsterdam and a gentleman on the plane had a heart attack. we made an emergency landing in nova scotia. not relavent but probably the only time i'll get to tell that tale

 

Im from NB as well...

 

so theres a few locals, and another who paid a short visit, cool.

 

im from manitoba.. grew up in nb.. but i live in sydney, ns right now!

 

I'm hanging out in Halifax. Gotta be some other Haligonians on here...

have very fond memories of cape breton when i was doing my reptile shows there

 

My mom's whole side of the family are Capers. Of course in true Cape Breton fashion, they've all left the island now.

I grew up memorizing the Rise and Follies records as a kid and still from time to time, when the liquour flows freely, I turn into a Cape Breton karaoke machine.

The island joke about 'what's your father's name?' has always been one to hit home for me. Especially when I hooked up with my now husband in Ontario and we found out our grandads where drinking buddies from the same legion!

Such a beautiful and sad place.

 

eastern side of new brunswick here, right on the border with nova scotia.

 

I'm a Nova Scotia living in England for now. Hope to move back this summer. Miss the hockey and trout fishing.
