That's a great one. So many to choose from: The Dollars Trilogy High Plains Drifter Pale Rider Oulaw josey Wales Unforgiven and Tombstone
I dont think the Outlaw Josey Wales is great at all. The only thing I really liked about it was how the west was visualised. The storyline and acting was nothing outstanding. Another one of my favs is Klaus Kinski. That guy rocked!
Jimmy Stewart is great in anything. He used the same horse named Pie for 20 years of westerns. Little Big Man 1970 w/Dustin Hoffman & Faye Dunaway was good movie to. Has it been mentioned?
I wont say its the best ever, but the end of Unforgiven is classic "well, I guess he shoulda armed himself"
"Well, when I get to liking somebody they ain't around for long" "I noticed when you get to disliking somebody, they ain't around for long neither." It's not the best out of all of his but it still good I think. "That's what we call a Mississippi boat ride"
You wouldn't happen to be a fan of: - Current winner of Best Cowboy Poll by a lassoo & a half!!. I agree that James Stewart was always consistently good as a Cowboy.
Clint is always tops in my book! The Outlaw Josey Wales is a benchmark in my opinion... Pale Rider is also very under rated!
Yeah! Just ordered Django on Ebay, I was looking for this one for a long time. Looking forward to watch it
I've been trying to remember the name of the one where Clint Eastwood's character paints the whole town to look like hell. I've only seen it once and I was fairly young but I still consider it one of my favorite films because I was just amazed at that concept, especially coming from a western. Is it High Plains Drifter?
Yes, that's the one. I also saw it on tv when I was a child. I'm gonna rent this one in awhile I think. I only remember a few things of it.
I voted for the anti-hero.....clint eastwood. but, personally, i think Tombstone is one of the best western flicks EVER......
