perhaps pm or phone would be better suited than airing out issues on RT, where they're nearly guaranteed to come back and bite you on the ass.
If she PMed her, then she took the chance of Cyndi having her on ignore. A thread will still show up on the board, regardless of whether or not the person has another member blocked. Granted, opening the thread would still show AshtonsMom as hidden, but I think the idea was to get her attention, and I don't think you can PM someone who ignores you.
Yes, you can pm someone who has you on ignore, they just have to hit "view post" or something like that to read the actual message. At least,that's how it was last time someone on my ignore list tried to pm me.

Jules, as far as gatekeeper goes, just ignore him. he'll leave you alone when he sees he isn't bothering you anymore.
