I know I shouldnt be coming to the stoners lounge of hipforums to ask this

But I am. Theres this chick that I really like and we've known each other for nearly 4 years and I wanna ask to be my girlfriend. I think she will say yes because she knows I like her a lot and she has told me she likes me as well.

However, I think going up to a girl and saying "Will you go out with me" is just fucking stupid. But I don't wanna do something sappy or romantic I'm just gonna call her and talk to her about it and I'm not sure what to say.

So how do you guys think I should go about this? We're going to homecoming together so I'm thinking about just saying something like "I wanna go to homecoming as a couple not just friends." Idk I'm just not good with this shit I haven't asked a girl out since like 7th grade ha.

Help me out stoners.

 

well you've established the fact that she knows you like her, you know she likes you

just be like "so what are the chances of us hooking up" or something along those lines

it doesn't have to be "will you go out with me" but whatever you say basically can be that simple, according to your situation

 

dude just be calm with it- if u like her u should know what to say. just next time yuo meet her start a conversation about a nice place and just say like do you wana hang out or come with me or something. i dunno man, i always know what to say when i need to...

Just kiss her and then work from there. Either that or just start holding her hand and kinda work into the relationship. If you start holding her hand or something she will know what you're thinking and you'll just BE boyfriend and girlfriend without having said anything at all. It works, believe it or not.

i wouldnt do it over the phone i would talk in person. the idea about working into the relationship is good 2. i would say sit by her sometime in private and just talk and then tell her how much u like her and ask whether she would be interested in dating. lol idk if it was me i would just go up to her and tell her i liked her and said will you be my girlfriend. I kinda just know what to say 2 lol

 

ya i agree wit this dude. just go and b like "hey do u wanna go out sometime?" ya its a little cliche and corny but its the only way to get your point across without the "did he mean that? i think he did but did he?" type thing happening. its only like a sentence of awkwardness out of a long time of dating.

why not just chill u and her together go out to eat, movies etc. invite her over to your place and eventually u will become close enough to be really comfortable with her [sounds like you already are] so just maybe be like, have you ever considered us being a couple?

or somthing along those lines..

I just hung out with her. We went to the bonfire at school cuz it's homecoming week. We were laying in a field and I was like "hey a lot of people have been asking me if we're going to homecoming as friends. I dont want that. I wanna be a couple....what do you think about that?" She said yes and it's all good.

Idk I got drunk there so I'll write more tomorrow...shit i'm gettin drunk tomorrow too.

When I first made this thread I thought you'd be the first one to make fun of me for being a pussy or not knowing how to ask a girl out or something. Idk why I just felt like you were gonna make some remark about it but you actually helped me out a lot. Ha that's just fucked up and somewhat ironic.

i've had such bad luck with girls and close friends who are chicks in the last couple months i figured this is somthing i would be serious about, the last like 5 months has been the most fucking stressfull/confusing time of my life due to this chick who's been really fucking me around, so it's good to see somone happy

 

hey dude ne way u ask her out is better than my friends way. he asked a chick to homecoming by giving a cd with metallica's nothing else matters on it (only one song) and a note that says "will you go to homecoming with me?" TO THE CHICK'S FRIEND.
