this thread is about a bongslide mr. big brother

anyways, despite that hooey


i just went out about an hour and a half ago to go find a slide

the first place i stop at (my favorite first) doesn't have any that i like
(well it had one that looked kinda neat, but i was lookin' for somethin' else)

anyways, so i stopped on over to expressions, the 2nd place, and the only other headshop i know of so far ( )


anyways, i watch 2 apparently 17 olds walk around with one of their mothers laughing at bongs and hookahs and what not

so after that, i looked and they only really had 2 slides that were of any uniqueness. both were the same price, so i just picked one out of the 2. a blue and green one, it's pretty nice


well, turns out, it's too big for my bong. anticlimactic

it still is a cool slide though

it's sort of got blue and green stripes i guess
and the handle that slides have is blue and green and nice and "big"

i'd love to use it right now, this is so disappointing

clean the bong out well, so it looks new, and bring it in with you discretly. as lomg as there's no resin then its as legal as everything else in there. Try the slide in it in the store, that way you know it fits. I'm sure most headshops will let you bring it in, but it might be a good idea to ask first...

 

all ya need to do is bring the glass piece that the slider goes in to with ya and if he slide fits in there then ur good(when i got a new one they happened to have the same bong there that i had so i checked it out on that one mabey they have they same bong as u there?)

what does your bong look like?
most people have the standard 9mm. I'm guessing thats what you have if your slide was too big. you probably picked up a 12mm slide.

there are also 14.5mm slides and 18.5 glass on glass but those are both rather expensive in most cases and are much larger than the 9mm. you probably didn't pick up either of these.

go back and ask for a 9mm slide.

 

i knew there were 12mm and 9mm, at least

never bothered to look at what mine is

and in the excitement i sorta didn't even think about this fact

hopefully they can give me somethin' to replace it, if not refund it

head shops in B-more have no returns. dont feel bad though, i always used to forget exactly what i wanted, now i have a check list. Handle, short stem, large bowl, relatively flat bottom (dont like cone-bowls), and a large hole. Also have to inspect the inside to make sure there are no weird deffects that often happen. I have gotten one of them before too.

 

did you go to buddhas belly? cause i think expressions is too overpriced. plus they check IDs when you want to look at peices. damn them

but i didn't really like their slides, and they only had like 4

or you can use it for a gravity bong.... thats what i use my old slide for.
