that allow me to add bongos or light drums to an already recording and semi-mixed track? i can't play drums worth shit and have some bongos but am having a hard time picking them up and making them sound as i'd like... any programs? preferrably free...

You could look for a pirated version of Logic Express, and if you have a Mac, you might already have GarageBand, which would work. I'm not too familiar with free sequencing programs, but there are probably some out there. What is this song recorded to, anyway?
i downloaded garage band but it needed a program to install it that i don't have and i have no idea what program it is.
Hmm... You could get Goldwave, and import the track onto it, and then record the bongos (with goldwave) on a second file, and then mix the two. You can adjust volumes and ton's of other things as well.
