I have used LSD in the past and mushrooms but wondered if anyone could tell me how an LSD trip differs in intesity etc - a subjective account of what yo think the differences are - IF youve taken cactii before
Also are they available in the UK at all? - I know they would have to be grown in special glasshouses etc but which could I grow

Lsd hit's you pretty quick, peaking about 2-4 hours in, and then tapering off after that. Mescaline (cacti) takes longer to reach the peak, but the peak seems to last a bit longer IMO, and then slowly tapers off. LSD is also a bit more edgy...by that I mean I tend to feel more "on edge" and easily distractable, especially while peaking. on mescaline I don't feel that way, it's incredibly smmoth and there is little to no hangover afterwards, PLUS you can usually fall asleep on Mesc if you really want to, which I can NEVER do on acid, until at least 12-14 hours from the time I took it. It lasts about the same duration from beginning to end, and is about the same in intensity, at least in comparable doses, but the visuals are more....organic seeming, that acid, more fluid and connected. I personally love Acid, but if I have a choice, i'll take mescaline any day.

contrary to what gajimok said, i find it just as hard to fall asleep on mesc as lsd. but its diffrent for everyone.

i also find that the mesc trip can/usually lasts longer than lsd depending on dose.
