I've got some time off of work coming up, and I don't have anything planned. Thought it might be a trip to take a trip and check out as many self sustaining intentional communities as I can. I am particularly interested in communities that are as independant as possible, those that live "off the grid" and employ renewable energy, and those with innovative energy saving shelter designs.
