hey ranger, you have mentioned a few times about having to aquire a script in order to grow marijuana in california. What are the requirements to do this? Is there a class you have to take or what? are there different scripts for differrent ammounts? just something that has been bugging me over the last few weeks and i figured you know first hand. thanks man. keep it real.
I can only speak in regards to how things are here in CA. Requirements: The document you need to grow & have pot is not a 'script, it's a recommendation, not quite the same thing. Some (most) Dr's will never write a recommendation for marijuana, because they don't want to get a rep as a "pot Doc". But marijuana is good for a lot of things: people use it to relieve insomnia, pain, stress, PMS, and other more serious aliments like cancer and MS. How many plants you're allowed to grow and possess varies from county to county, which is dumb. I live in The Emerald triangle in N. CA.,and in Trinity County the max limit is 12 plants, in the other 2 counties in The Triangle (Humboldt & Mendocino) it's up to 99--whatever fits in a 10' x 10' area. norml.com has a list of Dr's in med-MJ states that write recommendations.
If you have a desease disorder that Pot can help such as CANCER, HIV, eye problem or other type of thing... You can get a script from your Doctor, I have used marinol which is a pill and isn't all that good...pot at the time would have been better, but here in PA a script would not make it legal for me to grow or to have pot, so for me makes NO difference.
