What are you going to do with your hair after your dreads?

Your most likely going to cut them off, for what ever reason, boredom (biggest one for me), society, culture, traveling, etc...

Have any of you given thought of this?

I have realized i had the comb deal and i probably wont touch the camb. Most likely im going to have short (about a inch) and just wax it so it looks spiked, or messy... Whatever...

Have any of you given thought to this?

There's no way I'm getting rid of my dreadies! I have wanted them for so long now, and I've just started (4 months now). I seriously plan on dying with my locks.

Yeah, when I let my hair dread it was a lifetime decision for me. Doing pretty good so far, 5 and a half years or so! :)

If I have to cut my dreads, I'll just grow out my hair until I can dread it again. That's what happened last time anyway...

I've decided I will cut my locks off when/if I get married...as a symbol of starting over...

Then I will probably allow it to dread again.

My dreads grow. They change. :) My dreadies are not this weeks fashion statement. They are a part of my life that will not be ended anytime in the forseeable future.

mine are dragging on the ground now when theyre dragging 3 feet behind me i imagine they may start to wear off a bit on the ends, but theres no way id ever cut them

maybe i'll hire someone to walk behind me & carry them? i dont know
whenever anyone asks me if i'd ever cut them ialways say icant, i have a severe alergy to scissors

igotta askyou, if you wonder what youd do after dreads maybe you should be asking why you want them to begin with

when/if my daughter ever decides to cut her dreads off, I'm keeping them (at least one of them) in her baby book. :)

for me it was the opposite way... the dreads were the end of my relationship with a hairbrush..... there will not ever be no more dreads,,,,, because they are part of me n my journey,,,,, n i didnt have them untili was ready to be one with my head in that sense....... like soaring eagle said,,,, maybe you shoould be questioning...
