    Hence the name...Peanuts. LOL!!!

Oh, it is 4:51 AM. I can't sleep. I woke up with a stomach ache, a mild migraine, and a pimple ready to cause agony at any second on my chin. Damn thing is under the skin and it hurts.

Today officially makes a full week smoke free. Half the week my nerves have been torn to shit. My children have found way to talk a little more. I have had 2 migraines this week. BUT!!!!, I am not smoking.

I offered to mow my neighbors lawn while she is on vacation. She doesn't know it yet. She asked me to take care of her cat while she is gone. I feel bad she is a widow so I thought it would be nice for her to come home to a mowed lawn. Right now I am praying my body is taken over by a Miracle so I won't be laying on her lawn as an ornament.

I gotta get back to sleep....

Thank you and Congrats to you too! Yes ciggarettes. Those damn nasty things. If they are so nasty, why do we crave them or think about them?

I have chewed the gum a couple times. I think I average one or two a day. Instead the rest of time I am fighting the twists and turns of my emotions.

I did not get to reply to Willy earlier. I turned the light out and tried to go back to bed. Willy...I think waking up to the sunrise sounds beautiful. How was it for you this morning?

My head still feels weird. I took an imitrex at 4:00 this morning. Normally they knock my migraine out. Does anyone else suffer from migraines? What is your cure?

I don't like sounding like I am complaining. Sorry if all this sounds like another blah blah blah story.

I hope everyone has a Magical Monday...

for my migraines, i drink some coffee and put an ice pack on my neck. it helps a lot. i can't take imitrex much because of my blood pressure.

I do put a cold cloth on my right eye. That seems to be were I get them the most. It does help when I am lying down. Hard to do all the time with 2 children.

Today I look like I have been punched in the eye. The pressure from the migraine is making my face all distorted. Just Lovely...

i know it sounds painful, but try bathing your pulse points in cold, icy water. it's a natural vaso-constrictor. i mean your feet, your hands, pretty much your extremities. it's helped me. i would still recommend using the ice pack on your neck, since it'll begin the restriction of the vessels in your head better than placing the pack on your eye. rose oil and peppermint oil rubbed onto your temples helps as well, since it begins relaxing the muscles that tend to spasm when you get tense with a migraine. avoid cinnamon. it's evil.

i've got a lot of experience with non-medicated migraine cures. i gotta be on the verge of death to get more that 10mg of imitrex outta anyone. if you've already used the imitrex, this will further the cause of killing that SOB.

I am ashamed to say I did not get over there to do it for her today. :( My migraine took the life out of me and we had construction workers in our two yards putting in new electical wire. I am too "shy" to be mowing the lawn while they are working. Plus I did not want to piss anyone off. LOL!!!

I'm a bad neighbor...(my heart was there tho)

Can you rub my temples for me with those oils??? Just thinking about it sounds so relaxing. So far that imitrex has been my only real relief except it does wipe the life right out of me. I have nasal spray and I have already had to give myself a shot.

Those damn things are SOB!!!!! I will make sure I avoid cinnamon and I will also try those oils.

I really appreciate your suggestions KC. Thank you for being so kind to share them with me. :)

    Wow..quitting smoking. Very cool.

I tried it once, so I will try again in another FEW YEARS. It was the hardest thing ever. I have quit other "bad habits", but that one is, by far, the most difficult for me. As far as drinking coffee for the headaches, don't you really want a cigarette with that? No really, congrats on all the "quitters". If you made it this far, don't go back..
