The Mars volta

Anyone got their new album? I personally think they are, as the popular phase goes 'gradually disappearing up their own arses' and getting worse with every album unfortunately

 

i dont have it but have heard it, aweful to say the least. i loved Francis and De-loused

 

I wasn't even aware they had a new album. I will be checking it out shortly however, and I'll let ya know what I think. Francis and De-loused were totally bad ass, I'm hoping they don't disappoint me with this one cuz I was really into them

 

best album in my opinion, very different from the rest but shows more music talent

 

I only listened to it a couple of time when it was being streamed on myspace, but it just sounded like self-indulgence with a distinct lack of ideas.

 

I d/l it, but haven't had a chance to listen to it yet. perhaps tonight, after I get home

I got it the day it came out. I think It's thier weakest album yet.
