Well theres a very easy explanation....MONEY....They sold out for the money...But the hair and all I have no idea they coulda kept the image but played the shit. It doesnt matter how you look but to sell out is a big no! SO why did they play radio friendly songs...Idiots wanted more money...simple as that. Why did they cut there hair? I have no clue? to say its for radio is bogus I eman disturbed's guitarist has long hair so what he still sucks!

 

To say metallica sucks in present day proves to me that you haven't been to their concerts.

People say that metallica sold out for the money, I have no doubt that they wanted money, who doesn't want money? but according to the definition of "selling out", I don't believe that they truly did, as I don't see where they lost their integrity.

 

I saw them in october of 05 I think...Maybe 04? They did kick some major ass and played mostly there old stuff I think they know what we want to hear. I dont beleive they suck at all...S&M great album...Garage ink I liked it! I mean load and reload had like 3 good songs they dont suck there newer music isnt as good but they can still play like they used to...I hope this new album doesnt end up a disaster cause I knwo they can play they just arent for some reason...DAMN YOU BOB ROCK!

 

I saw them in October '04, had to travel to quebec city to catch them, but it was worth it. They also played mostly old stuff, but the new stuff they played sounded 10x better than it does from the studio.

Bob rock is no longer with them, they're using Slayer's producer, Rick Ruben.

What the fuck does that mean? Slipnots suits are gay? Does that mean the suits are atracted to other suits of the same gender? How could that be posible?

 

Yeah thats why I have some hope left for this album. His vocals need some tweekage though...But o well...

 

Slipnot are wearing suits of happiness, they have stated that playing their music makes them happy because they can express themselves, they're also expressing themselves through their attire, and so I assume that this also fills them with gay feelings. Think of it as their own little personal happy places, within their suits.

I could have said the suits were only attracted to each other when the members of slipknot were wearing them, or atleast it would appear that way...

But, I didn't.

I would hate to disagree with you, but I am afraid I must. I have seen them in concert when they were touring with Godsmack. (I think is was in '04) I STILL say the newer stuff SUCKS! Sorry However, I have NO complaints about the 'old' stuff. What got me was, at the show very few people knew the lyrics to any of the songs older than the load(of shit) album.

To me, Metallica didn't really 'sell out' they just changed their fan base.(If you want to call that selling out, then so be it) Most of us who liked the 'old' Metallica, don't like them anymore. And most of the people who didn't like the 'old' really enjoy the 'new'.

Now for Slipknot's gay suits, I think there twisted. It helped the band members go out into public with out being noticed so easily. (Not that we don't know what they look like now.) If I was in the same situation, I'd do the same thing.

Man I would hate to know what you all would think of me if you could see me. Everyone is SO stuck on appearances. Get over what people look like. This isn't a fashion thread.

By "sucks" i meant like unable to play their instruments, terrible sound.. that idea. Metallica still put on the best live show in all of Metal.

I don't argue that the people who listen to metallica in 2006 are different from those who listened to them in 1986.
