The Red Hot Chili Peppers Omg and The Mars Volta....Well You Tripped Me Out

On tuesday i saw the chili peppers and mars volta play in stoon, hands down the best concert i have ever seen, sooooo intense. I took two pills of e about an hour before the show started and when the mars volta started to play i just started tripping complete balls"im glad i didnt stick with my original plan to just do acid" then the chili peppers came out played a sick set came back for an oncour and played under the bridge, a song i never heard that broke into give it away and the sickest jam ive ever seen with the guitarist from mars volta anthony ended up watching the jam till about halfway through then he came to the mic said goodnight and let everyone countinue jamming for about another 5 mins and flea busted into the sickest bassline ive heard soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo freaking awesome

i was trying to make it to one of there shows this yr. but didnt really dig their new album.... did they play alot of songs from it?

 

the songs off of the new album are real awesome live, and ive heard of under the bridge, it was the song they started playing and cut into give it away i never heard before, the jam at the end was worth the 70 bucks alone soooooooooooo good

 

so was it mostly songs off the new album ?

two top bands......what's not to enjoy

 

it was more of the songs off of the new album, and during the mars volta they had this backdrop and during one song they got real intense and the backdrop dropped to reveal a even more fucked up picture and that tripped me out the hardest that night

 

I saw the mars volta open for a perfect circle 2 years ago. They didn't do much for me.The lead singer (sorry I dont know his name) was practically fucking the microphone. Which might have been real sexy if it was someone else. Plus there sound set up wasn't that great.
