Hello Family, Me and my wife are having serious troubles paying the childcare bill for our two younguns. Any clue on what agency or person we can talk to so's that we can get some good daycare welfare?? We both work and normally want nothing to do with government money (except for food stamps and clothing assistance!), but, what the heck, we really need it! We don't even know where to start, who to call, or what to say, and the wife is seriously stressed about this. Thanks in advance. Peace to all that pass this way! Ben AKA Goinghome.
I have no idea. My dh and I realized it was more expensive if I worked, when we had small children, than if I stayed home and took care of them myself. Working outside the home and paying for Day Care often eats up MORE money than staying home. Figure in clothing, dinners out or take home food, extra doctor bills from all the germs in Day Care, Mom and Dad buying lunch every day, extra gas to get to work, make up, clothing cleaning bills, convenience food, ect, and often, Mon has to make 70,000 herself, just to make a small profit. Have you done a COMPLETE budget, including all the "extras" that working outside the home costs you? You would be surprised how much less expensive is often for mom to either stay home or have a home business. It's worked for us.
