Peace One Day!

It's that time of year again, and it's becoming a bit of a tradition me posting these threads. September 21st: Peace One Day, the official UN day of ceasefire and non-violence. To date, since its inception in 2001, no ceasefire has been declared on this day. But every year, millions more learn of its existence and join the struggle to pressure their governments for peace, both on this day, and of a more lasting kind. Check out my article here:

Oh that's today. Well i haven't got anything planned, i didn't know about it. Maybe they will have something at college.. maybe

 

I'm gonna try my hardest not to kill anyone today!

 

Some colleges do have events for it, but it all depends on who knows. The first few years they had big concerts to mark the day. Now they play a documentary on the day, it'll probably be on BBC4, watch out for it during the evening. Also, you could just do something simple, like design a small poster to get people's attention, put the website address on it, and stick it up on a noticeboard at school. Even if only one more person finds out about it through you, that's one more little victory....

 

ah shit.. i accidently killed some one this morning... had i known about this earlier i would have made more of an effort to restrain myself.
