It is a Gondry film (Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind) starring Gael Garcia Bernal that comes out in limited release today or tommorow...has anyone seen it? You can watch all sorts of clips of the film here. It looks amazing!
I am also very interested. I have heard it is a love it of hate it with no in between... Is it worth paying to see in the theaters?
its DEFINITLEY worth it! i would pay to see it 10 times, its an amazing movie. the screenplay is so well written and the acting is amazing, and i loved the animated effects, such a trip...
Definitly worth it. great acting and dialogue, with amazing direction. I didn't like it quite as much as Eternal Sunshine, but thats a hard movie to beat in my book. It was similar in terms of the general visual feel, constantly slipping back and forth between fantasy and reality, but in a different way, apparently more similar to Gondry's earlier music videos, which I am personally not too familair with. It's also very open to personal interpretation, which I love, but seems to bother some people. Anyway, I thought it was excellent.
