I got my ears pierced about 7 years ago, and I'm looking to heal an infected ear piercing, whats the best method?

Perphaps just getting that ear solution sold at piercing studios, and applying it daily?

the best thing to use is peroxide, just put some in a shallow bowl and put your ear in it until it doesn't bubble anymore. do this twice a day til healed. it takes about 5 days

ask a hundred piercers how to heal and you'll get a hundred answers. what i have been told time and time again is to soak the piercing in a solution of sea salt and water(1/8 tsp salt per cup of water) and make it as hot as you can deal with. then soak it til the waters cooled off. if its an odd spot, you can use cotton balls or paper towels to hold it there. i remember way back in the day when i got my lobes pierced they said to soak my ears in peroxide. but last advice i got about that was that peroxide might heal the outside of the piercing too fast and not allow the inner infection out. the sea salt mixture draws the infection out. good luck :)
