What percentage of men are circumcised?

What do you mean man, I think it's a perfectly harmless question. I'm not myself, but I believe alot of Americans are and I'm just interested as to how many men are.

 

You will be happy to know that genital mutilation is alive and well in 21st century America.

As for me, yeah, they cut up my dick, and I can't say I'm happy about it.

Please excuse my ignorance here but can someone explain why do parents choose to circumcise their children. It seems so barbaric and unecessary to me. Why force some horrible operation onto another human being.

Can someone please put me straight about this issue as I would like to know what justification there is. I hope I have not offended anyone with my directness, I'm just curious.

I am glad to be circumcised. It looks so much better than if it wasn't.

Why do it. what justification is there.
Is it based on religious practices, if so that makes it worse by far.

If I was missing a bit of my penis and I had no say in it's removal I'd be extremely pissed off about it.
