Go to eBay and search for the freak brothers. They have a lot of them there (or at least they did a week ago).

I have been a collector of Freak Brothers comix and memorabilia for over 30 yrs. ;)Almost all of the Freak Brothers comix are still in reprint. All of the comix can still be found on ebay. Some headshops still carry them too. There are complete Freak Brothers volumes out now, that include all or most of the comix that appeared in the original 0-13 series of Freak Brothers comix. You can view info about the comix at either http://www.ugcomix.info/guide/F.html or http://sirrealcomix.mrainey.com/page/f/f_page.htm

Currently, an animated Freak Brothers movie is in production in Bristol, England. It's being done in the Wallace and Grommit style of animation. It's called "Grass Roots, The Movie". It's looks like it's gonna be VERY cool! :) There are alot of pics and info at the movie's web site. Check it out at: http://www.grassrootsthemovie.com/movie.htm
    Peace.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Freewheelin' Franklin, Fat Freddy and Phineas Phreak are

alive and well and living in Auburn, California!

International Underground Comix legend Gilbert Shelton first created the Freak Brothers back in 1968. The following year, he and three old college buddies from U.T./Austin - Jack Jackson, Fred Todd and Dave Moriaty - decided to "buy a printing press and Rule the World." The rest is history, as Rip Off Press has gone on to corrupt the minds of a generation. By 1986 the four original partners had dispersed: Jack and Dave back to Austin, and Gilbert to Paris. When a massive warehouse fire relieved company President Fred Todd and his wife of a 17-year accumulation of material goods, they decided to take advantage of the chance to travel light and moved the company from San Francisco to the Sierra foothills. In the ten+ years since then, an additional four issues of the Freak Brothers comix (Issue 13 was issued in fall of 1997) have been published—slowly but surely.

Highlights of some classic Freak Brothers comix:

The Seventh Voyage (Freak Brothers #4)

    Grass Roots (Freak Brothers #5)

The Idiots Abroad (Freak Brothers #'s 8-10)

I just got word that a small film clip from Grass Roots, The Movie has just been released on the net, with audio. It can be viewed at an ebay members "About Me" page. The ebay members name is countrycowfreaksheadshop. (Alot of Freak Brothers comix and memorabilia is available from this seller.) Log into ebay and check it out! It looks like it's gonna be a good one! :) Also, Gilbert Shelton (the comix artist) has written his first strip in 10 years! It is also available for viewing at the same place as the film clip. The direct link to the page is:
http://members.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=countrycowfreaksheadshop but I think you might have to log in first. ENJOY! I did. ;) Peace.
