Taste

Some shrooms are better tasting than others, that's for sure. But, I think the stigma of nastiness arose mainly from their propensity to grow in cow manure.

Taste has always seemed to have been at the mercy of residual moisture and time. Some times they taste like nothing, other times....not so much.

 

I've never had problems with the taste. I actually liked the taste of dried Amanitas (for a little bit, and in small amounts, then it'd get real gross). Thing is the taste is something so outside what I'm using em for, I usually ingest them by tearing em up and just plopping them in a liquid and chugging/gulping the stuff, which bypasses any opportunity to taste them ,at least for me.

 

ive never really thought the taste was bad until the last time i didnt them i got some shroom stuck in my tooth. and i didnt notice at first but then the taste started leaking out into my mouth. it was sooooo nasty i started gagging. but then i chewed a little gum and it was all good.
