Why is it schools seem to preach "individulality", But they make us were Uniforms in brittish schools witch all have to be exactly the same and frown upon alternitive hairstyles? if we are all different, why can't we wear and live the way we want?
Well, that's the way it is, just gotta go with it for now, unfortunately. It really is too bad they preach the double message. It just serves to screw kids up even more than they are gonna be already.
I had a choice of either going to a school with or without uniforms. I chose the one WITH, and preferred it.
well, it's shitty that you have to wear a uniform and all that... but what you wear isn't what you are or how you live. if you look on the bright side of it, the uniforms keep ya from being stereotyped, yeah? as for hair, that's equally shitty and i cant find the bright side for that... its just appearances. dont let it get to you. i guess if you want to go to school it's what you've gotta do.
Well, like Meg said, it's just appearances. I've always thought the whole point of individuality is how you express it outside of those superficial mediums. The way you wear your hair shouldn't be a point of individuality, but apparently it is. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love my hair to the grave. And you're a guy, so you're probably pissed about the whole no-long-hairz thing. But...see how you function without all that mess. See if it's still the same individual. If it's not, then the hair was just a distraction in the first place.
