Yeah, he's really the only one I talk to... but he knows some others and he's introduced me to them but I just usually say hi and give them some change or food or a cigarette and move on.

 

Pops usually buys me beer and cigs but I've dealt weed with him a few times and he gets some good shit.

Yeah I've gotten ripped off too. I was riding through the projects at night and this dude came up to me and asked me what I wanted. I told him "$30 worth" and he came back with three $10 rocks. He thought I wanted crack. Then he told me I could give it back to the guy and come back later that night to get the weed. He gave me a bowl's worth to tide me over and I came back later that night and the dude was nowhere to be found. Of well. Live and learn.

If so, for the life of me I can't understand why you hang around with this guy "downtown".
Let me give you some grandfatherly advice.
You're 15. You're still a kid.
I'm not being mean. I was still a kid when I was 15 and when you get older you'll realize were/are too.
As a kid, you're in no position to accurately judge people, which takes years even decades to learn to do.

Here's my suggestion. Quit hanging out downtown with hobo's and giving your $ to sketchy petty criminals. Get together with 3 or 4 of your hanging-out-with-hobo's-downtown friends, deciede what you want to play and start a band. Doesn't matter what kind, garage rock, hip-hop, ska whatever.
Get instruments and take lessons.
In one month that's right ONE MONTH from now you guys could be playing tunes.
Not very well, but getting there.
Practice often and you'll be good enough to be the opening band at this coming New Years Eve party, and don't forget the band gets free beer & bud and the finest poonage.

 

I realize I'm still a kid but I've seen a have been through a lot of stuff, some stuff that most of you probably haven't gone through. I think I've seen enough to know to judge most people after I've known him for almost a year.
