I was at the fabric store and had an urge to buy some beautiful burlap satin and make an evening dress. I put a loop right at the center under the bodice . I am going to ask my girl Miranda to wrap me up a heady stone and put it on a pin to put thru the loop. Or I thought some strings of beads would be nice

My mother's best friend is Deanna. Deanna's mother died a few years back. I am making a series of quilts for her children and the other grandchildren. These quilts are made from their grandmothers old clothing. It's fun cause there are pockets and buttons all over it...Deanna is going to do the quilting and the backing. I just do the patchwork!

burlap can also mean a lightweight material resembling burlap used in the interior of clothing. The inside of the fabric just resembles a burlap print.

Thanks ladies.I appreciate your comments...I'm working hard to finish it. I just need to sew the straps ,a hook and eye, alter a few things and then hem it up!
