Why do you need to fly BA? Other airlines might be able to get you here cheaper. Also, where are you departing from? We can't give you an answer without knowing.
Do you especially want to fly the Kangaroo route? You can sometimes get reasonably priced fares going with Air NZ the other way. The last time I went back to the UK was with Garuda. I might go with a different airline next time.
