I was walking home one evening a few months ago and it'd been snowing. I had some shoes with me, but since snow isn't all that common over here (maybe 2-3 times a year), I thought I'd give ago. Managed about 15 minutes then couldn't feel anything, and it actually started to hurt, so I put my shoes back on, my feet warmed up again in about 5 minutes so I gave it another go.

I'm all for snow barefooting - it's not my favourite thing to do, but it's good fun.

The longest I stayed outside barefoot in the snow was 45 minutes.
