I'm going to get "The Salvia Divinorum Grower's Guide" off of Amazon, along with some other books off of a weed seed seller on the net whom I got to send their catalogue to me. Now, I plan on reading many books before trying anything, and learning as much as I can before trying to grow anything, but I thought I might as well start researching this aspect now, as its one I don't think I can learn from a book. What are the reputable net sellers for S. Divinorum mother plants? What is a good price/size.etc? Is there much risk of getting sent a dupe plant? Have you guys ever bought any plants, and what were your experiences? Any advice, anecdotes, or whatnot?

I'm Kether, and I'm new by the way....Hello!!!

If you are growing it outside, you have to have the right climate for it, which most of the U.S. is not, unless you have a temperature/humidity controlled greenhouse. Good luck.

these folks have the best selection of varieties and best quality of plants that you will find on the net...period. Their prices are kind of high and the shipping is kind of steep but it IS worth it when the plants arrive.

Thanks guys! I think I've decided upon what I shall be buying. I'd post it here, but I wrote it down in a notepad which I left up stairs, and I know if I go up there I probably won't be coming back down. So I'll post here tomorrow. Besides, I'll want to look at it all again tomorrow with fresh eyes, to make sure I don't get ripped off too easily.etc. Thanks again!

Alrite, planned purchases have changed, because of shipment options(not shipping to Ireland), and one of my planned purchases is out of stock. But I think I know what I'm getting now. Oh well.

Another question(sorry guys). I've been reading a book on houseplants, and in it was mentioned hydroculture(basic hydroculture--a pot, stones, water and nutrients, no expensive equipment). Would this method be able to be used for a S.Divinorum plant, and us there anywhere I can read about such a technique being used for it?

Kether if your living in Dublin, go into The Hemp Store on Caple street and ask them to order the cuttings for you, they will order just about anything for you that they don't normally stock if you ask nice, and they have deals going with suppliers so they will only charge you the price the source they order them for charges people plus postage and packing.
