maybe im crazy. maybe my brain is broke. maybe my reasoning is wrong becuase evertime i bring this up to a christian person and think i stumped them they find a way around what seems to me flawless logic. here it is: why do you think god exists? they say "becuase i have a relationship with him" i say: well i feel i have a relationship with what i believe is god. islamics, jews, buddhists, egyptians, anybody in history who has every believed in religion no matter which one it was all believed their gods existed becuase they felt a spiritual enlightenment when practicing their religions. then i can either follow with 1. if christianity is the only true religion and your only proof of its existence is a stong spiritual connection that every religious person has, then how is that any proof at all? or 2. why does god trick billions upon billions of souls into thinking they are on the right track when they're not? why when you try to convert a member of a different religion they say they feel theirs is right for them or simply right?why does god make the majority of the world feel spiritually enlightened to the wrong religion, does he know that by doing this he's convincing them that the wrong religion is right?
a christian may reply : no one can know the Father but through the Son who is Jesus Christ our Lord . yet say you ... i know God . and the dialogue continues are you certain of this ? yes . what is your relation to jesus then ? jesus loves you . i love you , too . jesus loves you more than does your mother . you don't know my mother . . .

then you explain how no human can ever know what happens after death and they say its all a matter of faith BUT the bible has never been proven wrong so thats proof. is it that hard to reasonably discuss a belief system? and as long as you think jesus was perfect and try to be like him then why not keep your story consistent.consistency is key. un-freakin-believable
