I was thinking of using my trimmings of my plant to make me some damson dope jam, does anybnody have an idea of how to go about doing this?

I was planning on just adding the "wet" weed to the ingredients and boiling it for an hour, would this cause dammage to the properties of the ThC?.

Well you'd need something fatty in the jam to absorb the THC. Butter is used in jam, right? Here's a recipe for pot butter. And then just use a regular jam recipe.

Although, actually, if the butter was in the pan with the rest of the ingredients, maybe you could just throw the weed in there too.

I don't think it would... THC is fat-soluble.

A lot of the recipes I've seen use butter.

i don't think it'd be very effective as jam doesn't have any fat. try making butter or milk products instead.

yeah but the THC should be dissolved in fat or alcohol, because plant matter isn't as easily digested i think...

I honestly dont think its worth the risk to make some Jam if you could loose the precious bud...just make some butter or something if that.
