the post what did you do for the moevement didnt go as planned. i dont want anyone to think i am a sterotype im not i just think the young hipsters ( many ) use the hip lifestyle/philosophy and abuse it to there advantage as an excuse to do anything & everything without care of who its hurting! i hope you older wiser folks arent mad at me. the younger generation needs a experience. that is part of the reason i got my car. so i can take others to the anti war movement. oh guss what? u went to a classic car show today and found out it will cost between $10,000 to $30,000 to get my car in tip top shape like it just came out of the factory! i was pleaaaased to know it was lower then i thought. i get even bigger discounts because the guy restoring her gets discounts at NAPA! and getting new parts is cheaper then renovating the existing parts. liek the floor boardds, gas tank, carberator, etc. they even had a nicly restored a 65 VW Van! VW fans and 57 fans ;like me had a 57 2 door convertable! man whata show! my car would kick dirt just as much as any other 57! all 3 guys i asked said it doesnt look to bad! HEHE! it needs lots of VARIETY of work but little work in every area! so give me a year and she will groove & move as authenticly as a new 57! i owe $1,400 and she is 110% mine! and $400 more and she can be brought home! i can get a BRAND NEW 57 motor for $1,000! that itself is a discount to say becasue it takes car of many of the boring the motor,etc. and save me $1,500 on the boring alone! wish me luck & hipness!
