Hey guys. I've done shrooms a couple of times. My first time was pretty kick ass but the second time I didn't really feel anything. Anyways, I think I want to buy some shroom spores online. Being in Massachusetts, I don't think they are illegal, but I just want to make sure. Will customs confiscate them? And if they do, will I get in trouble? Or is it cool to buy the spores as long as it's for "scientific research purposes?" Oh, and about that, won't they figure out that an 18 year old kid probably isn't going to use them for science? Thanks.
The only states in the US with laws prohibiting mushroom spores are California, Georgia and Idaho. In Georgia and Idaho it is illegal to posses or supply spores, In California due to the wording of the law it is legal to possess the spores, but illegal to transport, import into the state, sell, furnish or give them away. So living in Massachusettes, they are perfectly legal, customs would not have the right to confiscate them. This doesn't mean of course that if they wanted they could alert the police to search your house in a couple of weeks and find the grown mushrooms which would be illegal, but this isn't too likely to happen as far as I know, unless you are planing to import a huge amount of spores. Having the spores for "scientific research purposes" has nothing to do with anything and isn't mentioned in the law anywhere, apart from the fact you would need a special schedule 1 license to be allowed possess magic mushrooms as with all other schedule 1 substances (cocaine, heroin, ect). I have a question about the legality of the new grow boxes that they are selling now (just open, add water, and wait). They should be okay to import just as well as spores, shouldn't they? There should be no active compounds present while in the mail. I don't think, anyway. I just don't want to order something for $80 only to have it confiscated at customs.
Where did you see these? How much do you get for $80 and are they real psilocybin shrooms or other more legal ones? If its the real deal I would order some and grow them myself that would be great.

I just read that they are supposedly only legal in California and Georgia. That's kind of screwy that spores are illegal in California and Georgia, but the growboxes are okay. They make you do it the easy way. So many wacky laws that just don't make any sense. In any case, if you order one you probably won't get it. Oh well.
