    Ugh, Woodstock sucked.

Find a DVD of Monterey Pop, it'll be much better.

I don't have Tivo and barely watch T.V any more but isn't that amazing that so many people still get to be exposed to amazing expressions of freedom and creativity on such a free and profoundly massive level. Every time I watch it, it brings me to an extreme clarity that last for days like going to a DSO show or to see the Dead or Phish (until last night) or Ravi Shankar (who's doing a west coast spring tour next spring). Seeing Wavy Gravy get up there and talk to everyone is amazing. The Pacific Northwest and Northern California are totally packed with aware and advanced people and it's really inspiring to witness higher thinking and creativity manifested in it's early stages. The Monterey Pop video is on a similar level. There's really nothing like when John Sebastian walks out with his acoustic guitar in the Woodstock movie. What a gem. What an incredible film. You should check out the 'Grateful Dead Movie.' It's really really well put together and Jerry had a lot to do with the editing and personally chose a lot of the matierial.
    Namaste!
