Vaporizer Options

Okay, I'm looking at buying a vape soon, and I was checking out this website for some options

Anyone own any of these? Can I get any first-hand experience? I don't want to waste my money - I'm looking for a vape that will A) minimize my herb use, B) stay more or less quiet while warming up, and C) be cheap. of course i want it to get me baked as well, but that goes without saying

Those look bomb. I'd suggest going with a legit Vapor Brothers though, since they are the same price. The only plus with about the Hot Box is the way it looks. You could leave that out in your room all the time, and have no worries. If you are really into being cheap you should check out the VaporGenie. Alot of people will trash these things, but once you get the hang of the technique it can change your life. Well not really haha, but it is portable. I use my Genie more than I use my whip-style vape. Downside is the lighter sound, and it eats up lighter fluid. Good to see that people are making the transition to vaporizers.

 

vapor bros and vapor warez have a better warranty than the hotbox. if that is any influence. you can get great deals on ebay.

 

I have a vaporbros and would highly recommend it. Think it cost me 130-140..forgot exactly how much. It's the only one i've ever used, but its amazing.

Yeah, I have a vaporgenie. Works well, but I don't use it all that much because you have to inhale the whole time pretty much with the lighter on, which could be bad for you.

I'm seriously looking into getting a volcano. What are your thoughts on that? Is it really that much better than everything else?

i recently just bought a pure vap, and that thing is great! 30 sec warm up time and 5 year warrenty, definitly cant go wrong with that. Back home my friend had a vap bros, which was also great.

 

I have the vapir, its good if your only going to use it for personal, i didnt really get into using the bags but if all your looking for is somethin to sit next to you it i would reccommend it. Heats up quick and have never had trouble with it in a yr+. The electronic display is a nice addition as well, ceramic oven and high quality parts, never have used a box vap.

From many people I know that have tried a volcano and a hurricane bong have said that if they had to choose they would take a hurricane. They say a volcano is worth in the 300+ range not its current price and they would much rather pay the 500 for a hurricane.

 

I looked up Hurricanes yesterday and those look really badass. I think that'll be my next piece after the volcano.

While I realize that I may get higer or better rips from a nice bong, I figure I'm making an investment in my lung health. I also hope to conserve some buds, my gf and I have been burning through wayy too much lately.

I can't comment on which vap to buy, because I've never bought one. I've always used the homemade lightbulb vap. I will say that a vaped high is different than smoking. You don't get as much of the chemicals other than thc, so you get a more headier high and less of a "stoning" effect, which I kind of liked.

 

Yeah, I tend to prefer that type of high as well. Do vaporizers get resinated?

well, i just bought a vaporwarez off of ebay (its not a used one though)... cost me 170 bucks Canadian including shipping, got a scale and a grinder with it too. should be here by the end of the week. hopefully its all i hope its going to be.

 

I just got a hotbox recently and I love it. I've smoked many times from a vaporbros, and those are also excellent, but the hotbox is just as good and looks cooler. there's no heat setting on the hotbox, which some people don't like, but I've never had a problem with the temperature. It is silent, and looks great on your desk. Either the hotbox or the vaporbros is a good choice, but I'm partial to my hotbox.
