When phish comes back, what set list would you like to see? Assume two sets plus an encore. You may choose indoor or amphitheatre. Please describe which songs would be jammed out more than usual. Consider dynamics of slow and fast songs, of course.

    Have fun with this!

    Amphitheatre.

I: Wilson -> Chalkdust Torture, Foam, Beauty of my Dreams, Ya Mar, My Mind's Got a Mind of it's Own, Mike's Song -> Llama -> Weekapaug Groove

II: Tweezer -> The Mango Song, Sparkle, YEM, Tube -> Bathtub Gin, Stash

E: Tweezer Rerpise -> Sample in a Jar

I'd love to see them jam out songs they don't usually jam out, such as Beauty, Sample, Sparkle, etc.

[SET I] Harpua>2001>Simple>2001>Scents and Subtle Sounds (full version), Roggae, Sneaking Sally, Anything But Me, Antelope

    [SET II] Union Federal>Tweezer, Round Room, Weigh>Mound>Suzie Greenburg, Rift>Piper>Camel Walk, Mikes>Hydrogen>Have Mercy>Buffalo Bill>HA HA HA>Reba>Weekapaug>Harpua

    [ENCORE] Tweezer Reprise>Harry Hood

**Harpua Sandwiches First and Second Set.
**2001 funkier thank ever, spaces out and melts into Simple.....which fades into that beautiful harmony type simple, and out of the harmony comes the famous 2001 beat again, to close out with the 2001 climax.
**Scents and Subtle Sounds hits 25 minute mark!!
**The first ever live Union Federal, the epic jam off of Junta....segues beautifully into a 33 minute tweezer, what year is this?!?!
    **An unbelievable Rift>Piper>Camel Walk
**The Mikes Groove was to die for, going thru old classics that haven't surfaced in years, and of course, it goes back into the famous harpua.....

***the encore, is to die for, a tight power house of a tweezer reprise, and the most epic Harry Hood, the glow stick war was like a poem.....the space jam was gorgeous and the lights were turned out to see the beautiful GORGE stars!!!!

the date: 10.31.06, the venue, Hampton.

set 1: Buried Alive>Split Open and Melt>Frankentstein, Tweezer>Halloween Vocal Jam>Sparkle, Trey Story>Big Black Fury Creature From Mars>Tube>Axilla II>Down With Disease

    set 2: Help On the Way>Slipknot>Franklins Tower>King Solomons Marbles>The Music Never Stopped>Crazy Fingers>Sage and Spirit>Blue For Allah

    set 3: Kung>Llama>Lizards>Tela>Wilson>AC/DC Bag>Forbin's>Mockingbird>Sloth>McGrupp>Divided Sky

    encore: Fishman's Tall Tale>Backwoods Jam>Fluffhead

*first set is riddled with "dark" themed Phish tunes...Trey tells special Halloween story which collapses into BBFCFM....the song of the set Tweezer...

**set two is the musical costume of "Blues For Allah" by the Grateful Dead....now that the boys are secure enough to play dead tunes with Phil, they can now take on a Dead album for halloween....the song of the set, the insane phish take on "Crazy Fingers"....

***set three, if it wasn't enough to get a Dead cover album, they do Gamehenge in its entirety.....oh how beautiful it wood be.

and the encore, well since trey got to tell a story, in the memory of the days of yore (the late 80s and early 90s) Fishman got to tell one of his stories.....and it leads into a special on the spot jam, which flows perfectly into Fluffhead....

oh what a night it would be....

    Hey all,

Love all the variety and obscure tunes being tossed around. Not to mention solla..sollew's setlist, which was various and deady to be even plausible!

anyhow, I realized that with a band like Phish it would be hard if not bordering on pointless to create a dream setlist. i'm not dissing anyone's attempts at all! But take a band like Rush -- it's fairly easy because there is no jamming, no unexpected segues into unknown musical territory, no amazing covers or acapella serenades. Rush is amazing, but they're much easier to come up with a setlist than Phish, in which there are as many setlists as there are fans, especially when you throw in the jamming possibilities.

I know; ihaven't even posted a set list yet. I will.
