what if a doctor said that you only had a month (or any shorter than life-long period of time) to live, and you went out and spent all your money in that timespan and took as many loans out as you could and basically had whatever fun you could, including telling your boss where to shove it etc. and then it turns out it was false and you actually won't die until old age from whatever the doctor diagnosed you with having. would you be able to sue the doctor for all your expenses of getting your life back in order? ie. all your debts and the money you spent, all the costs of returning everything and if not possible to pay for all (or most) money spent and income support until you found another reasonably paying job.
You watched that Queen Latifa movie didn't you? The answer is yes, you could sue him. You can sue anybody for anything. In America your shot of winning would probably be about 60/40. Anywhere else I'm guessing you'd be regarded as selfish person who tried to take advantage of the system thinking you'd escape reprocussion through death. In short, you'd lose and be out of even more money.
Probably, although I think that is wrong. How you act because of a misdiagnosis isn't the Dr.'s fault. I think the Dr. could be sued for anguish, but not for the millions of dollars of debt you brought on yourself trying to screw everyone you could out of money because you were dying and wouldn't have to pay it back.
