last night i was looking up on erowid about different types of OTC highs and i stumbled apon diphenhydramine hydrocloride. basically if diphenhydramine hydrocloride is the only active ingredient in benadryl and you take close to 15 you'll hallucinate..so ya..my testee. lol my cousin and i found a box in my house and he downed 6 at once. this was at 2:37 am. at 2:57 he downed 6 more..and we went into my room.. it was all waiting from there. he reported a "bubbly" stomach and extream! sleepiness...after about 45 mins or so the first visions occour. he sees lizards and lots of bugs he said and ocasionally a person walk past him in my room. he then reported a parot on top of my guitar and that he could hear cops and his mom talking to him..anyways...he didnt die so it was alright lol. i only had a few questions for those who have done this..im going to take some tonight. any suggestions and info on this drug ill be happy to obtain. but my questions are is this a drug that will show up on a basic or extended drug test and will it trigger any other substance on them. and also will this drug alow me to see things that like of LSD because he was reporting such feelings and visions.
its NOTHING like LSD...this is more of a "dark" hallucination drug...not like the colorfulness of shrooms or LSD. I would recommend you not taking it...its not pleasant. Just becuase you hear the word "hallucinate" dont think it will be fun.
well the thing is that my cousin is very high tolerant to drugs and when he does trip or get high its like a very childish thing but when he was on this he was completely consious and completely calm but he was just experiencing all types of crazy shit. hes easily scared and im really not and he wasnt scarred once, and the good thing i found about this drug is that your allready tired as fuck so when the hallucinations start and if you feel they are too much to handle and frightening you can easily fall asleep in a matter of mins.
what do yall mean frightend? i mean ive seen some good reports on erowid as well as bad ones. i have 12 capsules right next to me and im still awaiting to see what i will do
"most" folks end up not enjoying antihistamine (benadryl, gravitol, bonine, etcetc...) toxic psychosis (or the similar anticholinergic delerium) very much... some few really like it, & some few end up needing medical and/or police intervention... ymmv...
Antihistamines like diphenhydramine can be kind of dangerous to use, especially in combination with other drugs. I don't think the effects are very desireable, personally, but I guess it's a matter of taste. Be careful!
These are anticholinergic effects. It is really not fun. Your mouth, throat, nose, & lungs will get really, really dry, and you will retain urine. My friend tried to kill herself with Benadryl. She did hallucinate wildly, but it was far from fun. She ended up in a mental hospital for 14 days.
when you say retain do you mean stop from peeing or making you pee more because my cousin and other ppl when i read up on it both told me that they couldnt stop peeing. like he was asking me everytime he peed if he really did that because he didnt know where it was coming from. yea. i didnt take it last night. i was alone and honestly..im a lil pussy. lol i get spooked when my hair gets in my corner of my eye and i turn my head just a tad and it makes me think i see someone in my living room. so anyways. after reading this thread and yalls remarks i put the pills back into my container and wished to seek other alternatives or at least rethink it. honestly. if i had done it last night i would have freaked out. i was alone first off. and i was scared off my ass to begin with so once i started to hallucinate id really get scared. i think maybe IF i take it ill do it sometime with my cousin because we babysit each other when we try new things. me and him are really close its great. we first smoked weed together, drank together, rolled on ecstasy together,salvia, and blah blah.. and now hes done this. he didnt freak out because we were together and im really wanting to do this the same way if i acually do do this crazy drug. anyways. ill talk with yall a lil bit later about whats going on with it. keep the comments coming
Sounds to me like the only way you will realize this drug isnt fun is by taking them and feeling like shit for a while...Go for it dude
& write down what you are on, so you (& your sitter, & the EMTs can figure out what's happening... & remember the number for 911 (hint: it's "9... 1... 1...")
it seems almost coincidental that i stumbled onto this thread. yesterday i took 100 mg of benadryl for my allergies and when that didn't do too much good i took more. i get them from my doctor and he told me 100 was safe. usually i take three of them a day. yesterday was an allergy day from hell, cause i wouldn't normally do that but anyways: i thought i was going crazy. i started to have massive anxiety, and shakes like you wouldn't believe. i couldn't even smoke a cigarette, and at the same time was trying to appear normal so my stepson wouldn't see me like that. i had to literally sit on my hands for hours and just look like i was watching tv. i seriously considered going to the hospital, i was that scared. i didn't feel better until about eight hours later, and even then, i had to force myself to sleep. not an easy task in that condition. that shit is nothing to mess with. NOTHING TO MESS WITH. its downright hellish.
For the first poster, go ahead and try it. Its horrible for your body and a very dirty and hellish 'high' if your going to call it that. Ive done up to 24 of those at once a few times. Its pretty scary. Full blown hallutionations and delerium, with a shitty body load. Your legs feel like they weigh a ton but your upper body feels like a feather. Youll also get tired as hell. It may sound fun to some people when you read about it but it isnt for about %99 of everyone whove done it.
yea i mean everything sounds endurable except the reality/halluncination part. i mean everyone including my cousin who i baby sit while under the influence of this drug couldnt tell reality from hallucination. he simply thought he saw ants and parots and little people crawling along my window. he also saw acual people walking in my room. he asked me CONSTANTLY to check and show him it wasnt real. it was funny watching him but for some reason he murmered the words "this shit rocks" so i was like hmm. but he looked pretty badly fucked. i took pictures and they are pretty fucking weird
