Hi, I'm sixteen and trying to teach myself Spanish 2. My school is a small school and can't offer me Spanish 2 (my level) during my junior year so they've suggested I learn it at home so that I can get my two years of a foreign language required to graduate high school. I hope that makes sense. My principal said that in order to get a letter grade I need to do Spanish 2 with tests that are graded by someone other than my parents (who will probably be biased in my favor) which I think includes a computer software grading me. I've looked up Spanish programs but am becoming really confused over what to use and was wondering if any of you can suggest anything? Thanks for helping, Michelle
I'd say wait and travel when you can,,, I took spanish for 6 years and didnt learn anything...even had to review the question words(who what when where how much yaddaa.....) and then when I went to mexico it all clicked... just stay there for more than a few weeks, or months if you can and you'll be great... talking to native speakers and learning it functionally is the only way, in my opinion... goodluck oh yeah, rent/buy movies and watch them with (english)subtitles, while theyre speaking spanish..that'll help too, eventually youll change the subtitles to spanish and skip the english part..... buen suerte
Unfortunately I cannot skip my Spanish classes as I'd fail high school. I'll check out Spanish movies though. Thanks.
