ATTENTION!! call for gas boycott!!!

ATTENTION!!

on November 2 I want everyone to NOT get gas. STAY AWAY from all gas stations, tell everyone you know and all you don't! It will work if you make it happen.

Yeah I think I can handle that too.

 

Seeing as I don't own a car, and the only gas product I have is a lawn-mower, I can do that.

 

I don't burn gas,,,,,I have a diesel,and only fill up once a month.25 plus mpg is a beautiful thing.

 

This is such a dumb idea, these attempts never work, everyone who would have bought gas on the second will just buy more on either the 1st or 3rd.

 

That's a cool idea. I am at college w/o a car, so no gas for me on any day! I guess I've been boycotting gas for a while b/c I use my feet to get around.

Then don't buy any around that time either. how about a week if you like. I really think it could work. no, I know it will work. If you don't like my idea then suggest your own. but don't critique me just because I wanna help make things a little better. it's better than no idea at all.

 

This is a picture taken the day before the Ontario Canada big gas strike for a day. This was a Flying J truck stop and they have 6 fuel Islands with 2 pumps per Island and these cars were lined out to the road.

Yup all people do is buy the day before and after and actually has been proved that the stations make more money becuase you all buy more fuel than you normally would to anticipate the strike.

Even if we make it a week, it won't work, then people will buy enough gas to last a week. Do you know the oil companies budget, one day, one week, hell, a month of no people buying gas wouldn't shut them down, or hurt them significantly.

You want an idea? Get a diesel and convert it to vegetable oil.

 

I don't see how this makes the slightest difference, if you don't fill up on the strike day, you're going to have to eventually anyways.

How about take the bus for a week, then you're actually doing something constuctive. Somewhat.

Here's my thought, use biodiesel or something, but if you have a gas car, they got you by the balls.

 

Gas up a few days ahead, these guys count their profits by the day. One days major lost profits would make them stope and think.

 

Gas prices are headed back to $2 a gallon. What do we have to protest?

 

I agree with the others who say it will be bought on the day before and after and it WON'T work.
Plus even if it did, the amount of people who read your post won't make one iota of a difference.

 

Hell I just provided proof that it dont work, actually they make more money becuase most end up buying more fuel the day before than they normally would.

The best idea thus far I have seen is the one that was posted to buy only from one company thus forcing a gas price war.
