what the hell do i wear to school tonight?

your statement just made me do something very unlike me. I called student affairs at my old jc and signed up to study abroad for two weeks in dec-jan for my spanish credits...in a town just north east of cancun. They let you go for two days on new years eve and provide trasportation and lodging at a resort for those days.
i haven't studied in mexico in years and i think after failing this class four times i need to go with the sure way to pass and pass my competency in mexico....so im so in debt again...but so glad i dont have to take spanish in a classroom...

i cant wait to tell my mom. im going to leave her a note first (i have to go get some baloons for work and go to kinkos) and then i wont see her initial reaction before she knows my ;plan;...what do you think?

i think its a great idea lynsey. just do what you think will make ya happy. being in debt, is whatever. you can pay it back. who knows, it might be a really great experience. i hope your mom takes it well

 

i just got back from the gallery and party city (a baloon store) and she's not home...my note was left in the kitchen with no reply. I got her a smoothie...do you think that will help at all?
ya know fuck it I'm 25 years old, i pay my own bills, i pay to live here and if i wanna fucking go to cancun and party my ass off and buy my way outta spanish i will do so.

and um...how many time have i said you should think like that so far? i've lost count its nice to be considerate to what your mom thinks, but you are grown and need to do things for yourself. however, i still hope she takes it well, since you still live there and all.

I went shopping for work and wore a black spghetti strap tank with a built in bra, white cropped cargo pants, black flipflops and those sunglasses KC hates in black...I got hit on by a teenager d: it made me feel so cool or maybe I just looked slutty who knows. Anywho he hates his job...blowing up baloons and all so we talked a bit and then I hired him to do a soccer club with the kiddies.

 

I liked my idea better.

they have to pass you, they have no choice d: as long as I don't take off and go to the beach and spas all day...mmmmm cheap spa treatments...god i can't wait to go. i really am going to go to the language institute during the day but there's weekeneds and the holiday and nights and class is only 10-2pm

I took my marine bio class in mexico for the winter break and all you had to do was snorkel, identify the fish afterwards and hang on a fishing boat with a sundeck and chef. i was 17 then and was such an outsider and felt like a reject for the first time in my life. i never ever want to experience that agin it was scaring. no one liked me and one of the guys on the trip just hated me. But I am staying with a host family with one other roomate for 5 days and then in a resort the rest so i don't think I'll get flashbacks d:.

 

10-2 is not bad at all. get to sleep in a bit. and going out should be fun....i'm so jealous

the marine bio class sounds fun, snorkel and hang on a boat. i'd do that in a heart beat.

 

im lucky im so close to mexico, the southern part and beach cities are so much prettier and rural than they get credit for. I get to see the pyramids too I am soooo happy
