How come in Italy,Brazil and Portugal Men kiss other Men on the Lips to greet?

Why do they kiss the men on the lips to greet them?

no a french kiss but like a peck on the lips...but the dont peck a woman on the lips they do a cheek to cheek kiss.

Call me what you will but I dont kiss dudes, never have and never will, just not me. Im not a touchy feely person anyway so a casual greeting hug ect would never happen from me and it kinda invades my space when done to me.

 

Because they are secure in whom they are as men and don't see it as a threat to their masculinity.
Funny too-when you think they are also considered the most macho men.

 

i dont' see it as strange....just a different culture is all. i give a handshake/hug type thing to my boys and hug the girls and sometimes a kiss on the cheek

 

i'm not always comfortable with a hug. remoteness is more common to me. but should anyone kiss or hug me, i get all flustered and kinda turned on. it's automatic. and if they're good looking? hell. it's embarassing. i'm so used to not seeing physical contact between people that it's ALL a sexual trigger. so i can see where, coming from a country where it's not the norm men would feel discomfitted to have that trigger pulled.

italians get a really low rating in the sexual prowess scale, i recall reading. though i imagine that the women are just way too hot and therefore harder to please. i think i wouldn't require much work at all, should a sexy italian male deign to notice me, much less TOUCH me.

 

IMHO. There are many more much hotter women north of Italy -- up Germany, Sweden, Poland way.
