hey, i have a problem. what means 'el rolo' in spanish? i saw this word few times but i can't find it in my dictionary. some quotes: Te estoy pasando el rolo ?Tu no comprendes? ?Sabes que? Que te estoy pasando el rolo, el rolo, el rolo Soy un rolo e' vivo total HELP ME PLEASE
Dear El rolo, I am from Spain and live in Spain and I have never heard or seen this word. But the 'Diccionario de La Lengua Española' of 'La Real Academia Española' says that 'pasar el rolo' is an idiom from Puerto Rico that means 'to disapprove'. I hope to have helped you a little
You helped me much! That's right, I heard it in Puerto Rican song Kisses from Poland ) (I'm a girl, though my nick seems to be male )
Thank you very much for your kindness and friendliness. I am pleased to have helped you. A lot of kisses for you, too.
ya know, now that i look at it, i think i had wanted to say......Yo tengo los Rolos, but you are correct, estoy was incorrect.
that song you said "te estoy pasando el rolo" is a guy singing to another guy. He is saying like "i am much ahead of you" "i am better than you" they are like in a competition of who sells more records (i know cuz the song is by a puertorrican artist and i am puertorrican)
I have never heard that term but then it's like in in-glish or Hip-glish terms like: "im hip", "yeah, I m cool" "Like wow!!", "Dig this". By the way, I don't think anyone in Spain or Puerto Rico would go around saying "yo soy cadera" (I'm hip) or "entierra esto"(dig this) it just wouldn't sound cool. "no suena frio" (!!!)
