I wanted to show you some of the things i´ve been making using markers, The colors as you can see are very limited, but what the hell, its lots of fun. so what do you think?
cool, i like the first one and can see the resemblance to the scull and cross bones (now you come to mention it) third one's my fav'
in the first one i can only see madness, the second one is a friend of mine walking down the street third one is a guy lying in a surreal landascape last one is like a construction or a space ship or some strange thing seen from above i dont really think about anything when i draw, things sorta come on their own, i think you can see lots of different things depending of the person who is looking, by itself is nothing is just shapes and colors.
Im not big into art but I like the pics, I think they would look twice as good on a sheet of non lined paper though.
the use of color and geometric shapes shows a motivation on your part Andre to get into some aspect show business. Maybe art drawings are the first step to music or movie making. Any interests in those areas?
thanks a lot for all the feedback! Africa unite you are right, they sure will look better on normal paper but i made this on lined coffe paper, and the natural stains of the paper inspired me to make some of this paintings especially the third one and the bottom part of number 2. Honorseed you are also right, i´m a musician. drawing is just something that i like to do. You know i like the whole idea of the arts being interconnected with one another on an spiritual level, painting with music, and so on. Its all about expressing yourself freely.
I changed the position of that last one. I think thats how it´s supossed to look, thats what i like about abstract art, when you rotate the picture you end up looking at it in a completely different way
I like the bright colors. I couldn't tell it was lined paper at first, I thought that you did that yourself in the background haha. Well, I like them
