and i have two ways of doing so now.. but i.. well fear not making the right choice.. but i guess i can always go to the commune if i decide to come back here after earthdance
if you can go where you want to go after you try to do what you want to do then I say you should do what you want to do.

i would love to live on a farm i kinda wanna be a truck driver, either that or the crazy bus lady i hope you get your farm
You could kinda do both, truck then illegals in from Mexico becuase we all know.... Got out of bed, wasn't feeling too good With my wallet and my passport, a new pair of shoes The sun is shining so I head for the park, With a bottle of Tequila, and a new pack of cigarettes I got a cousin and she got a friend, Who thought that her aunt knew a man who could help At his apartment I knocked on the door, He wouldn't come out until he got paid. Now don't tell anybody what I wanna do If they find out you know that they'll never let me through, cos It's no fun being an illegal alien, no It's no fun being an illegal alien Down at the office had to fill out the forms A pink one, a red one, the colours you choose, Up to the counter to see what they think They said "it doesn't count man, it ain't written in ink". I don't trust anybody, least not around here, cos It's no fun being an illegal alien, I tell ya It's no fun being an illegal alien, no no no no no It's no fun being an illegal alien, I mean it when I tell ya that It's no fun being an illegal alien, An illegal alien, O.K. Consideration for your fellow man Would not hurt anybody, it sure fits in with my plan Over the border, there lies the promised land Where everything comes easy, you just hold out your hand Keep your suspicions, I've seen that look before But I ain't done nothing wrong now, is that such a suprise But I've got a sister who'd be willing to oblige She will do anything now to help me get to the outside So don't tell anybody what I wanna do If they find out you know that they'll never let me through, because It's no fun being an illegal alien, I tell ya It's no fun being an illegal alien, and it's getting me down It's no fun being an illegal alien, no no no no no It's no fun being an illegal alien, yeah yeah yeah It's no fun (not much fun) being an illegal alien, I tell ya that It's no fun being an illegal alien, I tell ya It's no fun being an illegal alien, no no no It's no fun (not bloody much fun) being an illegal alien, It's no fun being an illegal alien, and that's what I am.
hippy farmers, gotta luv' em/ i visited some hippy farmers this summer, they were raising chickens but felt guilty about eating the eggs, so they had baby chicks everywhere...... follow your heart boogabah. one way will feel more energetic and right than the other way.
most things i'm used to liking to eat don't grow where i'd like to live, though a lot of them grow where i do live. but what grows where i want to live i could get by on too. down here we got lettice and tomatoes and even rice and avacadoes. a little further up the hill where it's cooler and i'd much much much rather be, tomatoes don't do so well and neither does lettice, but cabbage and root crops do just fine. i got king of tired of radishes and carrots when i lived up there when i was going to high school and we had this little tiney half acre, but peaches and appricots and pears grow up there just fine too. except orchards take a few years to get started. miner's lettice, and blackberries are among the staples that grow wild up there. the indiginous staff of life was acorn mush, but that's a lot of work and the flavour isn't exactly gormet. pine nuts are good and are of course wild too. chickens for eggs and goats for milk sounds ok, but that does sort of lock you into that being your life full time. just like hunting and gathering would. still i'd give anything for a little piece of land if i could live in a country that would let me build and live in the kind of shelter i'd prefer to on it, and grow a few veggies. cabbage and spuds did just fine up there. and i seem to recall some kinds of pumpkins and mellons and squash did too. our landlord where we live has fruit trees and tomatoes and peppers and of course the lemon bush that's in our part of the yard that we get to pick to our heart's content. he shares with us and that's wonderful. real tomatoes, not those cold storage things you get in the store that tast like styrofoam. =^^= .../\...
I'm growing Organic Culinary Herbs-Mushrooms and Flowers. It started out as this small idea and now it's a full blown business and I am organizing other farmers in my area to sell at my Barn Green house right in Woodstock. I have over 75 Clients waiting for my first crops that are almost ready. I was going to travel and now I can't since I have so much going on here. Give it a try!
here i'd be an organic vegetable farmer... but.. hmmm.. and there at the commune they farmer/grow everything.. including animals been thinking.. might just go to the commune.. cus like i know me.. and i don't wanna burden this man with me
