What can the drug dogs smell through?

when school starts im gonna buy some reefer and put it in my truck. anyone have experiences where dogs have smelled through trucks? does the fuzz even check in parking lots when they do the drug searches? i know this sounds fucking stupid but if i were to put it in my locker with a dog bone in my friends locker next to mine would that cover the scent or distract the dog? my friend doesnt mind because they have to give that apology and shit to people they search and dont find anything or whatever... i dont know..

A drug dog nor a cop can search your car on the schools property. Even if you ahve drug dogs at school. They would need a search warrant. Lockers on the other hand, they can. We learned about this in civics. Since the school owns the lockers, not you, they can search it. The school doesnt own the car, therefor they cant have it searched.

 

Thats weird, because at my school they do searches on the cars. They say its on the schools property so they can search it.

 

Thats what happened at mine. They had the cops and dogs goin thru the parking lot and you here all these people gettin called down to the office. It was kinda funny, but luckily, that was one of the days that my brother took my car to work.

im not sure if they search cars at my schools but they have random drug checks where they call "questionable stoners" to the office and they get a full body search and their bags searched

 

You can't distract the dog, because they are too well trained. They find weed, they get a treat. They want that fuckin treat, you know? No little dog biscuit is gonna stop them. Plus weed smells stronger, and they are trained to go after it.

Just don't bring it to school, and you're safe. Duh. I don't get why people do that. Can't you wait till after school to smoke? If you can't, you should get some help with that...

 

dogs can't smell through a sealed container, but the infitismal amounts of residue on your hands after handling weed is no problem for a dog to pick up. If you really have to keep it in your truck then there is no way for it to be opened with any regularity and be safe from the dogs. If you're just transporting it, put the weed in a gloved hand, set it in the bottom of a coffee container, and with your other hand remove the glove from the inside. then wash your hands in alcohol (its thc soluble and takes the smell off) and then fill the container with coffee.

As for school parking lots, if you have to get a parking sticker then odds are you signed something consenting the search of your car whilst on school property.

I dont know what to say. I was taught they arent allowed to search what they dont own without permission. I'd do some research on it, you could potentialy sue the shit out of your school.

Uhhhhhh theres lots of little weed crumbs all over my car. They take the drug dogs through the parking lot whenever they do a check. Am I gonna get called down to open up my car for them?

 

last year, i was in school with a bunch of shit and someone ratted on me. they only found a pack of cigarettes on my person, but that wasnt enough. so they drove me on their fucking golf carts out to my locker... where they found nothing... so they went to search my car. the didnt find anything but when they got to the trunk i was fucked. i didnt ask if they were allowed, i was scared shitless. they acted like they had the athority, so i didnt question it. you really cant in that situation.

 

unless i've signed some sort of consent form, aint no school official looking through my car without a warrant and a police man present.

^^Actually, you did sign that consent form. When you get the decal to park on their property, you sign a waiver giving them all rights to search your car. For that matter, you don't have rights in school, no matter what you say. They can search you, your locker, your car, fucking everything.
Anyways, be scared of those fucking dogs, real fucking scared. You would be surprised what they can smell through. Also, I've noticed, is that they'll actually show a degree of how serious the drugs are. For example, the ones they bring into my school will point, with their noses, but they do little points, almost nudging in your direction. Other times(like with alot of marijuana) they'll all out point right at you. It's scary too, cause they really do point at you, even in a crowd they know. I was sitting on the stair well in lunch with some friends and two cops with a dog walked by. The animal pointed right at me, and the cops looked me right in the eye. They we're actually pulling the dog away, it was weird. I only had a dime on me, and I think they we're looking for more. Stay safe.

 

Not everyone needs a sticker to park, NOBODY I know does, there are about 3-4 people that park in the School lot.


And in school you may not have rights on your person, BUT they cannot search your car unless you have signed something. It doesn't matter if it's on their lot, you still own the car. You don't own your locker, which is why they can search that, but they don't own your car.

If they ask to search your car, just get in it and drive away.

 

this sucks i have to drive a manual to school (92 firebird). it looks cool but i dont know how really. the ignition is fucked so im gonna look like a fag stalling the car at every stop sign..

 

Yeah, well that's your school not the thread poster's school. I doubt that the threadposter's school only has 3 or 4 cars in the whole lot. In fact, I don't think there are many highschools at all that have that few people driving to school. Generally, the school system won't pass up a good chance to legally invade your space. They already have you signing the papers, they're more than likely to tack that on. Most seinors who had to take the bus for the last 3 years won't give a shit anyways, I know I did'nt.

Also, you don't own the car, your parents do, which I think is pretty fucking inane in itself. I can't legally own the car or sign a contract, but I can with the school.
