I'm new here,if I posted this in the wrong area,sorry I didn't see a section for new members. I've been smoking for over 20 years and I still love getting high. I don't mind the smoking itself (except the coughing) but I love the effects of the weed. Has anyone seen the show "weeds" on showtime? That is a great show. One other thing,has anyone ever used the marijuana looking buds from International Oddities? I have a back issue of High Times and I see it advertized there and I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this. Thanks.

I would love to see things drastically change because I'm sick of the obscene laws that prohibit the use of a plant- a plant that is a lot safer than the legal one-tobacco and that marijuana has caused zero deaths,man I wish it was fucking legal. Excellent,an informative pro-marijuana site is something the pro-marijuana movement can use. One of the forums that I was at prior to this one had a "no profanity" rule in place.These were supposed growers too,how could they be that weak? If the DEA fascists kick in your door and arrest you are you going to stick to just language such as "gee,golly gee,gosh darnit,dagnabit"? No,I don't think so because I wouldn't expect anybody to keep their language PG-13 when they are being oppressed by a fascistic system of prohibition enacted by the help of Dupont and later on by the alcohol industry because marijuana presents a safer alternative to alcohol.

USA is right and Southern California in particular. I've had good weed,great weed,homegrown and shitty weed. I like chronic but it's too expensive and not enough in quanity so it's basically a rich man's bud and I'm far from a rich man. What I've been getting is good bud,good high and sometimes pleasant smoke (when I don't start coughing) and it's been pretty plentiveful. I've been though weed droughts and let me tell you they are not fun,especially the weed drought of '89 because I thought that was never going to end. I saw the War on Drugs from the beginning and was surprised that no one stood up to it,even the supposed "civil liberties" people and that was disappointing. Then came proposition 215 which allowed for medical marijuana and I thought "finally,some aspect of sanity to the stupid drug war" but that euphoria was short lived when the U.S. Supreme Court invalidated the states' medical marijuana laws and that pissed me off. Some people in congress where going to propose legislation that would provide for a federal medical marijuana law that would once again allow for this wonderful plants use-legally. I heard this awhile back ago and I haven't heard anything about it since so if somebody has an update on this please post it here.
Reminds be of the time I bought a couple of dime bags and they were packed and I thought that was great because I thought I got a good deal. My friend who was with me wanted to check them out and that is when we found out it was blade grass. I bought this from a street "dealer" and when we went back to where we got this he was gone. His ass was lucky enough to stay off my radar or I would have royally kicked his ass.
