It feels like fall....

Oh yeah, it's fucking gorgeous out here, too. 57 degrees, all cloudy and misty...And it was awesome because rainy weather turns people off of ice cream, so work was absolutely dead. So not only did it feel awesome to step outside, I got paid to sit on my ass and eat ice cream and chili fries for 3 hours. Best day at work ever in my book!

 

It's in the 50's here as well, but the real flavor of fall is still a month away (around the Oct 1) when the Foliage peaks (and the yellows, and reds, and scarlet's dot the landscape)

It's sort of a disappointment that things are going to be dying soon...hopefully not until October, though, we just started getting our rainy season, so everything's so pretty and green. I have a difficult time saying goodbye to spring and summer, lol.

 

Yesssss... Fall is the only thing to look forward to in terms of seasons NOW It has alays been my favourite for many of the same reasons as well.

 

I love fall on the east. Out here it rains almost non-stop and is cold. But it should be interesting nontheless.

Yeah, I'd love to see autumn up in the temperate zones, but we have a lot of beautiful deciduous trees in my city from when the place europeanised, so i get to appreciate autumn too. I love the strange skies and being able to walk outside in the middle of the day without feeling like i'm going to catch on fire. Its a beautiful time.

but yea, this time of the year is fun, and brings back lots of memories. lots of soccer memories, eggings, toilet paperings, graveyards...so much fun

 

Fall has always been my favorite... perhaps because HALLOWEEN is in the Fall!!!!!!!!!

Autumn is my favourite season as well. I love everything about it, the colours, the smell, the temperature, autumn rains.. Ahh the joys of jumping in puddles wearing wellies!

Autumn I dont like, I hate having death all around me.
I hate the darkening of days, its a never ending season of endings.
I hate to see the expressions on peoples faces change as they struggle, against the cold, in the dark and decay around them.
I can live with it in the knowledge that without it there would be no transission from Summer to Winter and I like both of them.
Summer is my favourite season.

This time of year, although beautiful in the way of colors, depresses me. I long for the warm, summer days. (But I must confess I'm excited about Halloween. Love it.)

It's been cold and dreary here for about a week, and it's put me in the worst of moods. I need my sunshine, my warmth.

Plus I have no cute clothes to wear in the colder months. *pouts* All of my cute stuff is summery. I guess I need to do a little shopping. But still, I prefer the summery wardrobe over the fall/winter clothes any day. I think I live in the wrong climate.

 

spring in the high desert is shitty. windy, cold, dusty. but when fall would come around, all the cottonwoods on either side of the rivers would turn a gorgeous, glowing yellow. when combined with the looming grey sky and the glowing red and gold mesas, man, it's unbelievable. i don't know what autumn will bring here in NorCol but i'll soon see. the aspens in the back yard are turning yellow already.

I was an Obtober baby too and I do like Halloween, it's the nature of Autunm I dislike.

I was a November baby. That's when it starts getting really cold...but also brings back lots of great memories from childhood and high school of the holidays and school (yes, once I got into high school, I absolutely LOVED school). I'm reminiscing right now, even, and it's just sort of cloudy out. Haha.

 

I'm exactly the opposite, I looooove autumn/winter clothes. They're cute and cozy and comfy!

 

ditto! i love the colors of fall clothes too.. i love fall i want to live somewhere where it's fall for a verrrry long time... here it's been rainy and chilly for the past couple days but last week it was hot and humid and this coming week it will probably be hot and humid again... i don't like the weather here it fluctuates way too much day to day for me... shorts and flip flops one day, jeans boots and a jacket the next.
