Hi everyone..... I am new to Hip Forums as a member, but I have been reading off and on for a couple of years now. I have met some of you Hipsters ( PIGS!!) over in Amsterdam the last couple of years. I have been active on another forum devoted to Amsterdam, and I have a different screen name on that forum. I still like this other forum , but I want to become better forum friends with the Hipsters and I definatley enjoy partying with you PIGS! in Amsterdam, and I want to be a a little PIGGY too! I just moved to Mesa, Arizona this summer and it has been hard to meet people who enjoy similiar things that I do. I am 40 years old and married with two wonderful girls. Hanging out at the "clubs" and other scenes is not really my thing anymore. I am very much hoping to meet some Hipsters here in the Phoenix area and will post on that section as well. If you live in the Phoenix area please PM me so we can chat... If any of you PIGS ou there recognize who I am by this description, let me know and you will win a prize (LOL)! BTW, my screen name for Hip Forums is Strider '88. Strider was my "Trail name" when I through-hiked the entire distance of the Appalachian Trail in 1988, hence the '88 part. Any A.T. hikers out there will know what I mean by trail names.... Anyway, I thought I would resurect this name for my new family on Hip Forums. Look forward to the time spent on this site....... Greetings...Im from Imperial..a bit from Yuma....hope you have a wonderful time amongst us.. peace sister erzebet
Good morning to you too erzebet. I lived in Phoenix as a teenager from 1983-1986. I didn't see much of the state cause I was young and poor and partyin all the time, but the Arizona desert has been in my pleasant dreams all these years. I am so happy to be here at this point in my life and I am taking full advantage to take time and see the whole state. I was horseback riding in Tombstone a few weeks ago and that was awesome. Thanks for the warm welcome and speak again soon! Peace
Have a friend in Tucumcori, liked Sedona, Phoenix smelled pretty awful, Tuscon was cool though. Welcome, Strider!
